Lynn Williams Shipp, Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Shipp brings over 29 years of experience in institutional pharmacy operations to Strategic Health Partners. She holds a BS in Pharmacy degree from Samford University.
She worked in various management positions, including Vice President of Operations for Pharmacy Corporation of America (PCA) from 1981 through 1991. Her expertise includes start-up operations, cost of goods management, business expansion, formulary implementation, and clinical medication management. She has been active in the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, serving on the Board of Directors for four years, 1992 thru 1996. She also held the offices of Vice President, President Elect, President, and Chairman of the Board. She remains active in the legislative process as a member of the ASCP council of presidents. From 1992 thru 2000, she was a consultant to various long-term care companies. Ms. Shipp assumed the role of CEO of SHP in January of 2001.
Robert B. Beaty, Director of Business Development
Mr. Beaty brings over 30 years of pharmacy operations experience to Strategic Health Partners, with 20 years of experience in institutional pharmacy operations. He holds a BS in Pharmacy degree from The University of Mississippi.
Mr. Beaty joined Pharmacy Corporation of America (PCA) in 1987 as Pharmacy Manager in Jackson, Mississippi and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations in 1995. He was responsible for 52 institutional pharmacies with more than 3,000 associates servicing 175,000 nursing home residents. He left PharMerica (formerly PCA) in 2001 and formed his own pharmacy operations consulting company, "Long Term Solutions". Mr. Beaty provided services to SHP as a pharmacy operations consultant until joining the company as Director of Business Development in 2002.
M. Joe Whitt, Director of Sales and Marketing
Mr. Whitt brings over 20 years of experience in the senior housing market to Strategic Health Partners, with 12 years focused experience in the institutional pharmacy services arena.
Mr. Whitt joined Pharmacy Corporation of America (PCA) in 1988 with a focus on Sales and Marketing, operations, start-up operations, and business development in specific markets.
After leaving PharMerica (formerly PCA) in 2000, he joined RF Technologies as the Senior Vice President of their Long Term Care division and then joined HomeFree, Inc. as their Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He focused on business operations, sales and marketing, customer service, and product development. At Homefree, Inc. he was involved in all aspects of start-up operations with a focus on product development and its introduction to the senior housing marketplace. He has been active in publications of articles for resident monitoring in the senior housing market, President's Council at ALFA, as well as serving on the Associate Committee of several state organizations. Mr. Whitt joined SHP in March of 2007.
Cliff Hunt, Information Technology
Mr. Hunt brings over 20 years of pharmacy experience to Strategic Health Partners. Mr. Hunt earned his Bachelors in Business Information Systems from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2005.
Mr. Hunt began his pharmacy career in 1988 in Baltimore, Maryland. Since that time, he has worked for both independent and chain long term care pharmacies in various operational capacities in over 40 states. Most recently as Manager of Implementation and Transition for KPS Pharmacies. He has extensive experience in such operational areas as IV Therapy, Medical Records, Business Office, Inventory Management, opening new pharmacies and implementing pharmacy information systems. Mr. Hunt joined Strategic Health Partners in July 2009 where he currently supports pharmacies in both Operations and IT needs.
Amanda Tucker Graham, Executive Assistant
Mrs. Graham brings over 10 years of institutional and long term care pharmacy experience to Strategic Health Partners. She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of West Alabama.
Mrs. Graham worked in various positions at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center's pharmacy in Meridian, Mississippi from 1998 through 2002. Then in 2002, she joined Senior Care Pharmacy in Tuscaloosa, Alabama as Assistant Billing Coordinator and Payroll Administrator. She currently oversees the internal operations of Strategic Health Partners. Mrs. Graham began working with SHP in June of 2005. |
